At the age of 14, in 2003, Tha KYD started up his own independent record label called RedLine Entertainment. Not wanting to pay for studio time and tiered of doing muzik on tapes, Tha KYD started up his own lab. By turning his little walk in clozit' into a booth and getting a computer, he foud a way to start making his own real beats and start to get his muzik on CD. Latter On 2005 Tha KYD and his cousin Young BYRD, the Vice Presedent of RedLine Entertainment, formed a group Called "The Xiles" With Breadleon, Street Father, and Trigga Mike. First doing a mixxtape hitting the street all day everyday getting of the mixxtapes for 5 dollarz a pop "The Xiles" was on a good start. Latter 2005 the group fell off.
Latter getting together Tha KYD and Young BYRD got together with there other couzin's and formed another group called "Da Sluggaz". The Group members are Tha KYD, Young Byrd, J Blaze, Young Barrz, and Chief. They keep it in the family and is still doing it. Da Sluggaz is curently in the studio now workin' on there new album soon to drop called "Hyphy Game" ft. artist like Keak Da Sneak, Mistah F.A.B, and many many more.
With the new single "Hyphy Game" hitting the street Da Sluggaz is getting a real good buzz around the Yay. Soon to come out Tha KYD and Da Sluggaz is bringing the heat as youngstaz. Tha KYD aslo able to produce he has another advatage in the game to get his money. With his own style of beats causes all the Baydestians wanting to get some of the "Trunk Muzik" on there projects. Comming soon to the world, "Tha KYD and Da Sluggaz" is about to show every body whats the real meaning behinde the "Hyphy Movement" as youngstaz.
